Australian Wool Innovation, Meat & Livestock Australia and partnering organisations are running a National Lambing Density Project to assess the effects of mob size and stocking rate on lamb survival. There are two aspects to the project: Trial sites throughout Australia (including up to 20 in NSW) where two mob sizes, and two stocking rates are monitored Collection and collation of on-farm observations on practices and results of lambing from a network of producers Hence, there are two opportunities for involvement – as a trial site, or through contributing your experiences.
